| Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation $5.99 |
Wet n Wild has really stepped up their game lately. As a college student who loves makeup, and is on a budget this foundation was like finding the holy grail in the drugstore. What more could I ask for?
So, when I first heard about this foundation I was a bit skeptical, as you might be as well. I mean, who would think that a $6 foundation could be so amazing?
I watched what felt like a million YouTube videos that were reviewing this product, and then I saw that Casey Holmes reviewed this, and she loved it, so I knew I had to test it out for myself because her foundation recommendations are always spot on. This time was no different.. I am so in love with this foundation!
I found this product at my local drugstore. There are 20 different shades available which I thought was very impressive, because some higher end foundations don't even have that many shades to choose from. Since it is winter I'm very pale right now, so I chose the shade "Shell Ivory" and it is a perfect match for my skin tone. The packaging is super cute, and the spatula applicator is great! I prefer to apply this foundation with a damp beauty blender rather than a brush, but you can apply whatever way works best for you!

This product claims:
- Your skin, only better.
- Flawless camera-ready makeup every time
- Light adjusting complex to help prevent white cast in photos
- Tested under 7 different light conditions with and without flash
I've been testing this foundation out for a few weeks now, and all of those things definitely seem to hold true. I have fairly oily skin, and I don't find myself having to blot my face or touch up my makeup throughout the day. It also works very well with both my Shape Tape concealer, and my drugstore concealers. (Which is a bonus!) If you are in the market for a great foundation, but don't want to break the bank this is definitely something I recommend trying out!
